Hello. How are you? Tired after this intensive week?
This week we have learnt many new things. Do you remember?
We have studied the interrogative pronouns "what", "where", "when", ...... You have learnt how to make questions with them. We have practised the verb "to have got" and the "possessive determiners": my, your, his, her, ..... You also know how and when to use the Saxon Genitive (my sister's husband).
We have learnt a lot of vocabulary about "the family", "days of the week", "months and seasons", "countries and nationalities". We always practise our listening in the class, but if you want to practise at home as well, you just have to ask me. I can lend you the CDs for you to record them.
Well, do your homework, please, and have a look at the vocabulary we have learnt.
See you on Monday.
Elena

Hello again!
Good morning to everybody.
We have started to use the textbook at last! Fantastic. It's a very good book, I am sure you will like it.
You have learnt the use of "this", "that", "these", "those". We will come back to it next week. You have also learnt the "possessive determiners", my, your, his, her, its, our, your, their. We have to practise them.
Next week we will see the interrogative pronouns, what, who, when, where...., and the verb "to have got" as well. We are going to use the textbook, so, please, don't forget it.
See you on Monday. Bye, bye.

Helloooo!!!!
How are you? Are you happy with your decision of starting to learn English? I hope you are.
Well, you are beginners, I know. But you already know many things. For example:
- numbers (not only up to a hundred, but also up to thousands...) You know how to say them and how to write them.
- the verb " to be" in affirmative, negative and interrogative.
- short answers with the verb "to be" (Yes, I am; No, he isn't; Yes, they are....)
- many adjectives (tall-short, rich-poor, handsome-ugly....)
- plural formation in English, and also some irregular plurals.
- much vocabulary about "school things"
- the alphabet (although we need further practice, of course)
- you have practised different questions like "What's your name?", "Where are you from?", "How are you?" and "How old are you?", and their approppriate answers.
Next week, we will learn to distinguish and use the demostratives "this/that", "these/those". I also hope we will be able to use the textbook, if you all bring it to the class.
See you on Monday and don't forget to do your homework!!!!
